True North Inc is a mid-sized, independent interactive and direct agency with offices in mid-town Manhattan and San Francisco.We're looking for someone who's excited about exploring new technology and methods and collaborating with our design team to produce thoughtful and innovative work. Necessary skills include: •Expert knowledge of front end languages (HTML, XHTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, XML) as well as server side (PHP and/or ASP or .NET) . •Experience building and maintaining MySQL databases •Proficiency in integrating Flash, HTML, and data elements. •Educated in development methodologies •Experienced in cross-browser compatibility and SEO. •Understanding of hosting issues such as server capacity, database response, video serving, and bandwidth limitations •Experience with Flash Remoting and AMFPHP Overall work skills should include: •Appreciation for human issues such as usability and interface design. •At least 3-4 years experience programming at an interactive agency
