Description
Candidates would design, develop and maintain corporate web-based applications using the latest technologies and working on all phases of a project, from inception to delivery. The Web Developer will have the responsibility and ownership for design and deliverables for an application. Candidate must have the ability and ambition to design high performance, robust, high quality, supportable and maintainable web site applications. Requirements: BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent, with 2+ years of related working experience. Strong knowledge of Linus, Apache, HTML, Javascript, CSS, Ruby on Rails. Solid understanding of web site design, user interface design principles and usability testing. Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases (Oracle preferred). Strong written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills. eCommerce experience a plus. Ability to productively apply programing tools to solve business challenges and problems.
